THE ELEPHANTS RETREAT:
Valley Center, CA

Where the herd comes together.

LOCATED AT

The Elephants Retreat takes place at Nopalito Farm, a 15-acre organic property nestled in the near-coastal foothills of Southern California.

Set on the historic land of the Luiseño Payómkawichum people, the farm is rooted in a deep respect for the land and its natural rhythms. Since 2015, it has been thoughtfully stewarded as a regenerative space. Home to orchards, flower fields, wildlife habitat, and simple, intentional living spaces.

Surrounded by chaparral, fruit trees, and open sky, this is an environment that invites you to slow down, reconnect, and come back into balance, both within yourself and with the natural world around you.

THE RETREAT

The Elephants Retreat is a 3-night immersive experience for those who have made the decision to step away from weed and are ready to deepen their recovery in a supportive, grounded environment.

This space is for you if you’ve already quit cannabis, or are actively in the process, and are looking for community, structure, and the tools to stay on that path. This is where you practice doing it differently, together.

Instead of numbing or pushing things away, you’ll practice how to be with what’s there through mindfulness, meditation, breath work, yoga, and time in nature, supported by a group that understands the process.

THE SETTING

We’ll be staying on a 15-acre organic farm in Valley Center, surrounded by fruit trees, open land, and views of the nearby Santa Ana Mountains.

This retreat is intentionally rooted in nature, because healing happens differently when you slow down, step outside, and give your nervous system space to reset.

Think:

  • mornings with coffee under the fruit trees, the air still and quiet

  • golden light moving through the orchard as the day softens

  • evenings around the fire, grounded, connected, and under the stars

This is a place to unplug, breathe deeper, and come back to yourself.

Through movement, stillness, time in nature, and space for personal reflection, you’ll begin to:

  • sit with and move through cravings and emotions, with support

  • understand the patterns behind your use

  • build resilience and emotional regulation

  • reconnect to your body and inner world

  • experience what it feels like to not go through this alone

  • Daily yoga

  • Daily meditation

  • Daily breath work

  • Guided community support gatherings

  • Nervous system regulation tools & practices

  • Whole, nourishing meals prepared on-site

  • Beach day & dinner in Oceanside

  • Bonfires & intentional connection time

  • A small, supportive group - your “herd”

Transportation can be coordinated for those flying into San Diego.
