Who we are

Elephants in the Mind was created to help people address the whole herd: OCD, anxiety, and addiction - because you can’t truly heal one without meeting the others.

Each of these experiences is an elephant in the room: the compulsive thoughts, the checking, the numbing, the fear, the need to feel safe. When you try to silence one, the others grow louder. True healing happens when you turn toward the herd, with awareness, structure, and support, and learn to guide it, rather than be led by it.

Through guided accountability, reflection, and healthy habit-building, Elephants in the Mind offers a new path forward. It’s not just about managing symptoms; it’s about changing the relationship you have with your mind - learning to lead your own herd with clarity, compassion, and calm.

Meet Your coach

Hi, I’m Catherine, founder of Elephants in the Mind, a space born from both professional experience and personal transformation.

I’m a certified yoga teacher with over a decade of teaching experience, specializing in anxiety relief and mind-body connection. I’ve run successful wellness programs like Yoga for Calm Minds, helping hundreds of people calm their nervous systems, quiet racing thoughts, and rebuild trust in their bodies.

But my deepest qualifications come from lived experience. I’ve walked through OCD, anxiety, and addiction, the full herd of thoughts, habits, and patterns that can take over your mind. Through years of inner work, mindfulness practice, and evidence-based habit change, I discovered what truly helps people heal: accountability, consistency, and compassion.

Now, I help others do the same, not by chasing perfection or control, but by creating steady, sustainable habits that bring real calm back into daily life.
